About the original work
This reproduction is based on Pedro Pablo Oliva's original painting, Strange Promise , created in 2005 using mixed media on canvas (35 × 30 cm) and currently in a private collection. In this work, a girl rests on the banks of a river, highlighting the use of blue and green tones in the landscape, in contrast to the yellow and red of the main figures.
